Who are our customers?
The answer to that question is simple – hopefully you! We don’t just build gearboxes for big-budget motorsport teams, we build, repair and rebuild transmissions to suit all budgets.
As well as building road and motorsport gearboxes, we also offer a wide range of specialist services, many of which are carried out on-site.
For more information about these services and how they can help you, please click here.

Transmissions for road use

In addition to our transmission work for the motorsport world, we also offer an excellent service to the road car and light commercial vehicle customer.
Catering for both manual and automatic gearboxes, as well as axles and 4×4 transfer units, we offer a fast and professional turn round of units that we rebuild. We also carry a range of popular gearboxes in stock, especially those used in light commercial vehicles, where vehicle off road time is at a premium. Please contact us to check availability of your particular gearbox.
We offer a full fitting service, as well as transmission servicing, and fault diagnosis, including fault code retrieval on most popular European, Japanese, and American vehicles.
We are happy to deal with most of the leading insurance warranty companies on your behalf, when rectifying a transmission fault covered under one of these warranties. Please call for details.
Why we don't sell online
We originally thought long and hard about introducing a “shopping basket” or “buy online” system to this site, but decided against it.
It would have been all too easy to have you “click here” or “enter credit card details” there. However, that is not what we are about.
You are here because you either want or need a new transmission, component, or repair. We would like you to buy it from us, but be happy with your purchase.
We would rather help you choose the right transmission or transmission component, without having to go through the pain barrier with you either sending the part back for refund, or, worse still, slagging us off on the forum that led you to us in the first place!
If you have an idea of what you want / need, but aren’t sure, then contact us. We will offer the right solution. Yes, it is likely that we will remove large sums of money from you, but you will get the right bit for your requirements!
In our experience, even the most experienced race car builder looks to us for advice on just which product would be suitable for a particular application. He (she) comes to us because we are specialists in our field, and knows that we will offer the right product, regardless of which one gives us the best profit margin!
In an effort to make this transaction as painless as possible for us both, have a look around our catalog, and if you wish to purchase something, and know exactly what you want, then email / fax / phone us with your order. We will advise on delivery time, costs, etc, at that time. If you’re not sure, contact us anyway with an idea of what you’re trying to achieve, and we’ll advise you of the best value course of action.
Alternatively, if you are local, please pay us a visit and let us help you with your purchase.
If you are unable to find what you are looking for, then please contact us with your requirements.
After sales
All our products and services are warrantied against premature failure and faulty workmanship to some extent, based on the usage (limited warranty on motorsport or quasi-motorsport such as track days).
As good as our track record is, no-one is perfect and if the worst happens (and unfortunately it sometimes does), the first thing to do is contact us so we can advise on what to do next.
While we have attempted to make all areas of this website factually correct, it does not constitute any part of your warranty agreement or contract. Please contact us for full details about our returns and warranty procedures. Naturally, this does not affect your rights as a consumer.
